Already? I swear if schools start any earlier they might as well go year round!! I'm thankful I home school my daughters.

I'd like to thank the officers who watch the children crossing. You protect mine and everyone else's children from other wise dangerous speeding drivers. Thank you for all you ladies and gentlemen do all school year.

WHY ARE THEY GOING TO SCHOOL IN AUGUST!!!!???

Please watch out for the children..

Please watch for the school buses just like if your child was on it you would want cars to stop for them.

Geez.

Looks like a hot shot rig could be from any state... Check local deliveries in the area and see if anyone had a delivery come in on said day.

Truck looks familiar, but I can't place it at the moment.

It's a local hot shot driver.

Looks more like a 40ft trailer for hotshot loads

Thank you SPD Awesome job Thank you for keeping our children safe

I have been warning people about Bubba Accord and I still have the messages where I told him that I knew that he was trying to mess with young girls and he hurried and blocked me. Thank you Staunton PD!!!!!!

The sad truth, a man with possession of marijuana is going to do a longer sentence then these chesters. Hell even a person with a driving offense is going to do longer.

Sex offense should be mandatory death penalty. No plea deals. No reduced charges.

isn't amazing how many comments mention that individuals knew that these guys were likely sexual predators? some even reported it, with no result? so, great job busting these guys online SPD. wonder how many kids they molested in the community since they were first reported and when they were arrested in this sting. i wonder how many other well known sexual predators are careful enough to stay offline or are not tech savvy enough to use the internet to lure in victims. there is a guy at my parents church that no one trusts alone with young girls. aint that some crap?

Best thing can happen to these looser s is to not spend our tax dollars and just put em to sleep!!

Reported one of these guys who already has a prior history of this because he was at a store asking about my child in Rockingham County! They did NOTHING! Thank you for protecting our children!

May they rot in prison

Make sure you throw away the key after you lock them up. Keep up the Awesome work!!!!!!!!

Thank you all! I can't imagine the difficult process for the PD to go thru dealing with people who want to exploit children. Thank you for making children safer. We appreciate you!!!

Thank you Staunton PD for protecting our kids!

Thank you for working to keep our communities & children safe. I hope these MONSTERS are held accountable for their crimes.

Thanks SPD - stay safe while trying to keep our children safe.

People wake up they know just what to say to make your child feel special. These people are dangerous please pay attention to what your children are doing online. I know most parents don’t have the skills of there kids but get someone who does. A friend a family member anyone who can help you keep track.

They need to be roped to a tree, and there grown parts tide to top of the tree

So many sicko’s in the world!! Thanks Staunton PD for keeping our children and grandchildren safe!!!

With all the technology these days do they think they’re not going to get caught

You never know! Known one of these guys for 30 years!

Great job Blue🤘🏼

Great job 👍 : Keep up the great work!!!!!

THANK YOU STAUNTON POLICE FOR GETTING PEOPLE LIKE THESE OFF OF OUR STREETS.

Disgusting! Way to go, Staunton PD!

Thank you for finding them and keeping children safe!

SCAM ALERT

Multiple medical offices in Staunton received phone calls yesterday from a male claiming to be a US Marshal. The male told office personnel they had federal arrest warrants but could avoid arrest by sending several thousand dollars in money orders to him. Office personnel contacted the Staunton Police Department and no money was sent to the scammer.

Please remember that law enforcement agencies will never demand money in lieu of an arrest. If you receive a phone call requesting money from someone claiming to be a law enforcement officer, hang up and do not provide any personal information over the phone. NEWS RELEASE

The Staunton Police Department is investigating the report of a male impersonating an investigator from the Social Security Administration. The male approached a residence in Staunton, displayed a silver badge and claimed that the citizen’s account had “fraud activity” and that police would be responding if he was not given money. The male left the area after the citizen declined to speak with him further.

Social Security Administration employees and investigators will never go door to door requesting money or any form of payment. As a reminder, law enforcement will never contact you by phone to request money in lieu of arrest either. There is no evidence to suggest this incident is related to the incident reported yesterday involving a white male impersonating personnel from the City of Staunton Public Works.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a suit with a silver badge. The male was also described to have a heavy foreign accent. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540.332.3842 or Crimestoppers at 1.800.322.2017.

The suspect claimed to need access to a home to check on the water system. The male was not wearing a uniform and did not display an identification card. After the male left the area, multiple items were discovered to be missing from the residence.

City of Staunton Public Works utility personnel will not request access to your residence. Utility employees will only come into a residence if invited by the homeowner as a public service, and all City of Staunton Public Works employees carry identification cards. If a contractor, utility worker, or other individual asks to enter your home you have the right to see their identification. If the worker refuses to provide identification and continues to ask for access to your home, shut the door immediately and call the police department.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 30’s or 40’s with an unknown clothing description. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call either the Staunton Police Department at 540.332.3842 or Crimestoppers at 1.800.322.2017.

Sooooo..... in this day and time someone allowed a total stranger to enter their house and then let them go about unsupervised and can't give a description other than gender and approximate age range?....(I'm just gonna stop right here before I say something "unpolitically" correct ...)

CANT UNDERSTAND THEY CANT REMEMBER WHAT CLOTHS HE WAS WEARING SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE

News Release.... don't be stupid!

Kasey Lyn Christnelly Knox

Exactly Peggy Sheffer especially if its broad daylight id remember every little detail this sounds like a SCAM to me

As a caregiver to the elderly, please know that some cannot remember 5 minutes ago. And often ask the same questions repeatedly. They may remember part but not all of an incident. It’s not unusual.

Be like, you want access to my home? Bring a sherif and warrent. Other than that, no trespassing. A very easy way to make anyone go away 😂

These people prey on elderly please inform the elderly and disabled that dont ghave internet access. Keep an eye on your neighbors too. Do not open doors for anyone this time of year! This is SCAM SEASON everywhere. Also be cautious when shopping etc....

Police have advised not to approach the woman, just call crimestoppers, to avoid being gummed to death.

They didn't ask for judgement on her looks. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves. You don't know her circumstances surrounding health.

She almost got away by the skin of her teeth.

Looks like a demon jumped in her body and was like.... mhhhhhhhmmmm i reckon i'll run ta wallly world and steal a buggy of stuff!!! Dont smoke meth!!

I saw her yesterday at the Waynesboro Walmart. Can’t forget a face like that!

They didn’t want the ones at the grave sites as most have been replaced by cheaper models! My Mom paid thousands for headstone and heavy metal vase but for some reason has been replaced with some cheap plastic. They won’t talk to me regarding vase and Mom can’t as she has dementia.

Seams like a inside job if they knew where the old scraps where stored at.

It literally says on the post that they weren't taken from actual graves. And still people are freaking out over exactly that. Come on people.

I hope whoever did this burns in HELL 🔥!!

OMG are people Evil!!!!

My Father’s, Grandparents and Aunt’and Uncles grave sites are there and I've gone many times to find flowers and wresths removed or stolen & very unkempt grounds! Repeated complaints to the Office management has gone and fallen on deaf ears!! Really? You have our money but do nothing to keep this place scared and holy! Shame on you!!

There is a special place for people who would do something like this, and it's not Heaven!

Stealing from the dead....lowest life forms do that 🙁

I will put up $100.00 for the arrest and Conviction of the thief or thieves, and challenge every other community member to match this . Make these so hot nobody in 30 states will want to touch them

My opinion anyone who steals, (especially off a grave site) the good Lord Should Send a Lightening Bolt Roght Down upon them !!!!! Bam

Check the local scrapyards

Need to go by and check in my Familys!!!! Prayers for that or those theives!!

Very sad world we live in these days!!!

People do the most evil things and I don’t get it😲

How can people steal from a cemetary?

WTW,are they thinking.

I have family there, god help you, if you piece of crap stole from them. Your day will come,

What monstrosity when will it end

How very sad

Thanks Leslie! Sent this to Bill!

Inside job, some knew they were there

That is 😔

This is so sad,

I hope they catch these people this is real sickening! I am going to check on my families too.

Amber Nicole Harris they did change locations!

Tina Propst

why the change? been in the old spot, no real issues that we knew of, for a long time....

Noooo... We always watch from the top of the ⛳️ golf course.

Yes Debbie S Lefler we were right underneath them last year it was awesome

Elizabeth Shifflett Hahn did you see this?

The best place to go is parking lot at the Bzsjetbamm and skatebord place.

Fire works go off at 10

Where are they normally launched from on this map

Has anyone had success viewing the fireworks from as far away as the fire station on Augusta?

Lindsey Coffman

Will they be good this year? Last couple years they slowly get worst?

What time will they be put off?

If anyone sees this and remembers to comment when they are finished it would appreciated! I live too close and my dogs get fairly traumatized so we are going on a drive.
