At this time, there is one confirmed case of Coronavirus in Clarke County. In cooperation with the State and Federal 30 day extension of social distancing, the Clarke County Board of Supervisors, the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department and the EMA are requesting your help in slowing the spread of the Coronavirus. • Avoid gatherings of more than 10 people. No athletic events or other social gatherings. Just because people are off work does not mean it is a time to gather for fun. Please stay at home out of public groups if at all possible. • Restrict visitation to long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes. • Discretionary travel and social visits should be avoided. Only travel when necessary for food or prescription purchases, medical treatment or emergency. • Use drive-through, pickup and delivery options for local restaurants. • If anyone in a household tests positive for the virus, everyone who lives there should stay home. Self-isolate for at least 14 days.
It is still essential that everyone continues to practice basic preventative measures: • Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly • Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose • Cover your coughs and sneezes • Clean surfaces and objects that are touched regularly • Stay home if you do become sick
Sheriff Todd Kemp requests that all citizens in Clarke County comply with these guidelines and continue to act accordingly. The Mississippi State Department of Health’s website is a primary resource for information on coronavirus. If you have additional questions, you are also encouraged to call the MSDH COVID-19 hotline, 877-978-6453 ... See MoreSee Less
I can tell you this sheriffs department is a joke. You can beat a woman with a baseball bat and get away with it. Pretty sure as long as Marcus shows up. Hell rob a bank and shoot a cop they dont care if it's not monday thru Friday from 8 to 5 your good. Cause marcus is trash ass officer. Tommy has them under his control and does meth with them
Good 😡 Great job Clarke County Sheriffs Department 🙏🙏❤️
"Let those without SIN, cast the first stone" This is my Great nephew!! He needs lots of prayers and help! life hasn't been real great for him!! So instead of criticizing him, realize that for the Grace of God, this could be you or one of your loved ones!!
Good job CCSD. He looks good in Orange
Thank you for getting him off the streets, someone could of been killed!
Thank you Clarke county sheriffs department!
Unfortunately, what he did is only a misdemeanor in MS so unless the prosecutor gets creative he won't spend much time in jail. He deserves a much more severe punishment than the maximum the statute allows.
§ 97-15-13 - Hunting or shooting on or across streets and highways
(3) If any person hunts or discharges any firearm in, on or across any street, public road, public highway, levee, railroad or the right-of-way thereof, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not less than One Hundred Dollars ($ 100.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($ 500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than sixty (60) days nor more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. This subsection shall not apply to any law enforcement officer while in the performance of his official duty or to any person engaged in a lawful action of self-defense.
Make an example of his butt!!! He screwed up big time & luckily no one was hurt/killed, but what he did was NOT OK!! Make him pay for his actions!!!
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Way to go CCSO & community members!
Awesome! Way to go CCSD
Sad to see he may not have a future. And fortunate he did not kill anyone, that would have landed him in jail for a very long time.
Good! I hope he learns a lesson!!
Y’all must not be passin out awards now a days huh #TopFlightSecurity
Great job !!!!
Little pansy punk! Hopefully he gets made an example.
Can't imagine how they caught this master criminal...
way to go LEO!
He looks messed up.
Haters want ur down fall, like we, living like an outlaw. We, are not at all without flaws. I know a little dirt, on a lot of yall. Let's, leave it at inhibition and hope that they believe us to and, leave us with quickly. Jail ain't no place for any soul. And the deed is definitely inconsolabable. But youth is a muth@ fu@$. And every body hates you till they love u. It really doesn't make me none. I just thought I'd say sum.
Good job keep up the good work
I bet he won't video anything else and put on FB?????
I thought he said that the video was old and he serves 33 days in juvy for it?? Guess that was a lie.
Clarke County Hot Topics***BREAKING NEWS UPDATE*** PACHUTA - Successful ending after Heroic rescue efforts made by State Trooper Anthony Chancelor, Clarke County Deputy Austin Touchstone, and Clarke County Deputy Brad McNeece.
CCHT would like to commend these guys for not hesitating when it came to this life-saving, high-water rescue situation.
Witnesses who called 911 for help stated the vehicle was overturned and the driver was still inside and yelling for help as the waters continued to rise into the vehicle.
Once Troopers and Deputies arrived on scene it was confirmed the driver was indeed trapped inside, that's when the three jumped into action through the flood water.
State Trooper Anthony Chancelor with the Mississippi Highway Patrol said on scene Wednesday morning, "We just couldn't sit back and wait, the car was on it's side, the water was steadily rising and we didn't know how long the car would remain stable before overturning".
Chancelor, McNeece and Touchstone all went into the blinding water not knowing quiet what to expect below. "We didn't know if their was a ditch or a low spots, so we all just went in guiding each other in case one of us fell". Chancelor said.
The driver who was from said to be from Alabama suffered minor injuries during the accident, however no medical attention was needed. Without a doubt the situation could have been much worse had the vehicle actually rolled onto its roof in the rising water.
Pachuta, Enterprise Fire Departments and other local first responders also responded to and assisted with the accident scene. ... See MoreSee Less

This is so sad. There is so much more to this story.
I'm reading comments and someone said set up?
This child had multiple injuries in different stages of healing. The abuse was ongoing.
The child was 16 is what the story said. Was child disabled? Why did she live with them? Did the teenage girl have an abusive boyfriend? If so, why did the guardians not report this or did they?
If she was in their care, they need to speak up. This child was tortured.
Condolences To The Family
God Bless 🙏
